Engagement & Couples Photography

This couples and engagement photo gallery features photos of couples in Lethbridge, Waterton, the Crowsnest Pass, and many other locations throughout Southern Alberta. I work with couples who are dating, take engagement photos and pictures for save the date or wedding invitation cards, and photograph married couples who are celebrating anything from their first anniversary to their 50th anniversary!

Engagement Photography

Having engagement photos before your wedding is a great way to learn how to be comfortable in front of the camera and get a feel for posing. You'll be pros by the time I am posing you during your wedding photography! You can go for a casual look, dress up, or do a combination and change outfits part way through. Engagement photos are a great opportunity to choose outfits and locations that match your wedding colours so that you can match your wedding invitations and guest signing book to your wedding decor. If you'd like more of an indoor or big city feel to your engagement photos, you might consider booking space at Casa or Designed to Dwell for an indoor session.

Many couples choose to pick a different season than their wedding or travel to another location for their engagement photos. It's common for couples having a Lethbridge wedding to travel to the Crowsnest Pass or Waterton for their engagement to take photos in the mountains.

Photography for Married Couples

It's never too late (or too early) to update your photos after your wedding. Photographs are a great way to get more casual portraits in the first years after your wedding and update your wall art once a few years go by. For the big anniversaries later in life, many couples have children and grandchildren and book a family reunion or extended family photo session with all of the generations. At these sessions I make sure the couple who started it all gets some timeless portraits by themselves.

Photos For Couples Who Are Dating

You don't need to be married to enjoy photos together. Couples who are dating can make a date night out of a photoshoot. Pick out your outfits together, make the day an adventure with a hike to the photography location, and celebrate after the photos are finished with a dinner out on the town!
